Apocalypse

The idea for this image comes from a photo I saw in internet. It was the photo of a young girl with an armour and, I don't know why, but as soon as I saw it I figured that it was the red knight of the apocalypse that I was looking for... I know that usually a nice girl has nothing in common with the terrifying knight of war that John tell in his apocalypse but in my vision the war is a bloody monster masked of apparent innocence.

I'd like to paint also the other three knights and I hope to do it a day.

I have not used reference photos for inspiration, exception for the original idea of the girl with armour.
Made as usual with Painter X and my Wacom.
